As part of its mission the New Generation Club extended its Charitable work to Lebanon. Where it joined hands with the Health and Social Care Association in Beirut Lebanon. This came on the heals of the raging war in Syria and the Displacement of hundred of thousands of Syrians into Lebanon. The massive influx of refugees placed a heavy strain on the already stretched out resources of the institute. Our fundraising efforts alleviated some of the burdens. Direct (100%) unabated donations meant that the association could continue to function and provide top notch medical and social services to thousands of needy and destitute men women and children.
The Health and Social Care Association, is a Lebanese registered non profit organization. The association is secular and has no foreign financial backing, it provides its services to all those in need with total disregard to their religious beliefs. Born in 1981 the Association has now 13 clinics spread out in different areas of Lebanon. Typically these areas are impoverished and the Association's clinics are possibly the only health care accessible to their inhabitants.
The Doctors and nurses extend their free volunteer work to 500-600 patients per month in each clinic. Thanks to our donations the association has been able to maintain a high quality of care. Our donations have helped provide medicine, acquire a small fleet of ambulances and setup a state of the art medical laboratory.
